Ice fishing was slow for the most part on Tunkwa this past weekend. The unsettled weather seemed to have the trout turned off a bit. Watching them on the Humminbird graph, you could see the trout coming in to look at the presentations, but they were reluctant to bite. Fish were caught but action was overall slow. A fishing derby was held this weekend, and a 21.5″ rainbow won for longest fish.
Ice is still plenty thick and will be sticking around for a long time!.
