Tunkwa is showing open water in our campground bay, be a week before it ices off unless tomorrows forecast of windy (42km gusts) weather and warm temps blow it to the North shoreline. It was above freezing last night and tonight forecast down to +4, really makes a difference when it doesn’t freeze overnight. Small chironomids are coming off in the open water and fish are showing themselves. An early ice off this year.
