Unstable weather earlier in the week kept fishing tough. As the week progressed warmer sunnier weather has finally arrived triggering chironomid hatches. Throat sample the last few days showed chromies and browns along with bloodworms. Also large scuds and damsel nymphs were packed in some fish at the fish cleaning station. Fishing picked up over the last few days with fish being caught throughout the lake. Worm under a float, gang trolls, pumkinheads, damsels nymphs, leeches, chironomids, kwickfish, hot shots all produced fish. Water temps reached 60 at the surface for the first time this year.
