Milder temps have arrived after the cold snap last week, temps are around 0 during the day and -5 overnight, outlook show temps above freezing the upcoming week. We have had about a foot of snow the past week, some reports of slush/water on top of the main ice sheet with the snow on top, snow insulates the slush/water under the snow keeping it from freezing, ice is 13-14 inches thick. Fish have been caught on meal worms, krill, shrimp rings and worms.

Here’s a 24 and a half incher, fish are wintering well.
