Whether your looking for more fishing lakes, a place to hike, a town to explore that you’ve never been, we have a few ideas for you!
Tunkwa Lake Resort isn’t just for fishing! ( Though, that is one of our favorites) we offering kayaking, paddleboards, hiking and biking! There are endless ATV and dirt bike trails (out of resort and provincial park area.) Whether your looking to sit with a good book in the sun and relax, sightsee or get your adrenal pumping, there will be something for you!
- Logan Lake offers hiking, dining, sports courts, parks and fishing! (15 minute drive east)
- Drive into the scenic valley of Ashcroft where you’ll find dining, parks, groceries and more! Don’t’ forget to stop by Desert Hills Ranch (3-250 Elm St, Ashcroft BC V0K 1A0) for a look around the petting zoo, kids play area, fresh vegetables and more!
- Merritt is a close by city offering a public swimming pool, Rotary Park, walking trails, bowling alley and much more. (50 minute drive east)
- Highland Valley Copper Mine open pit lookout is located 25 minutes from the resort (head towards Ashcroft on highway 97C)
