Fishing has been fair to good in shallow water (less than 5 feet) using half backs, pheasant tail nymphs and mirco leeches to medium size leeches (1/2in. to 1 1/2 in.) in maroon and brown in color under an indicator or slow striped in. The good old worm under a float also produced fish. We had a 5lb fish caught this week. Over night temperatures have been hovering around 0 and daytime highs around 8 to 10 Deg, warmer than normal for this time of year.
We have brought in and winterized our boats so we don’t have our boats available to rent until next spring..
