Yesterday saw the start of ‘any buck’ season. With it falling on a Saturday, saw a lot of people out hunting. Weather has been bright and sunny, not ideal hunting conditions, but at least our nights are getting cold, down to -7.
Guests harvested a couple mule deer bucks, and lots of reports of does everywhere.
Grouse and rabbit numbers are way up this year, providing some good hunting opportunities as well.
The migrating northern ducks have not shown up yet..
