Unstable weather patterns the past week still produced fish. Smaller chironomids mainly #16’s with popular patterns working were Whiskey Dicks’ Blu Gnu and the Grey Monk, Black Sally’s and Elvis. Pumpkin heads, olive green Carey’s and Vampire leeches stripped in shallow water worked. As the days progressed #14 chironomids were coming off and more prolific hatches of #16 were also coming off. Water temps are steady at 48 Deg. For those in the interior or North health regions we do have cabins available and being May one of the best months for fishing it’s a good time to fish.
