Warmer than typical weather during the past week raised water temps. Damsels were seen for the first time this year on Tuesday and also small caddis were coming off spotty during the day. Chironomid hatches were spotty during the hot days. Fishing leeches, damsel nymphs and caddis nymph pattern in shallow water did real well, with the calm lake one could see the fish with the clear water in the shallows which made for some nice sight fishing. Over the weekend the weather pattern cooled off considerably with some unstable weather, damsel nymph patterns still produced fish and pumkinheads worked. Worm under a float caught fish in 6-8 feet of water.
