Seasonal temperatures have returned after a lengthy cold spell, overnight temperatures are around -5 and daytime highs just above freezing. Ice is approximately 16-18 inches thick with ice snow covered with little shush on top of the ice. Fish are being caught in deeper water lately and throat samples showed them feeding on green/red blood worms and guests were catching fish just off the bottom. Bouncing the bait in the marl bottom stirred up the marl attracting curious fish looking for a meal. Seasonal weather for the next few weeks is in the forecast. There is a few feet of snow around the resort elevation and higher amounts as folks sled up in the hills in the surrounding area.
