Seasonal temperatures have returned after a lengthy cold spell, overnight temperatures are around -5 and daytime highs just above freezing. Ice is approximately 16-18 inches thick with ice snow covered with little shush on top of the ice. Fish are being caught in deeper water lately and throat samples showed them feeding on green/red blood worms and guests were catching fish just off the bottom. Bouncing the bait in the marl bottom stirred up the marl attracting curious fish looking for a meal. Seasonal weather for the next few weeks is in the forecast. There is a few feet of snow around the resort elevation and higher amounts as folks sled up in the hills in the surrounding area. Quads have no issues getting around the lake to search out where the fish are biting. Vehicles have been accessing the Day use and park areas..
