Earlier last evening, the RCMP arrived at the resort to notify us with an evacuation order. The resort is not in any danger from the fire, this is simply a precautionary measure to ensure everyone’s safety. We will update all our guests as soon as we have more information on when we can return. This early afternoon a public information meeting will take place by the TNRD (Thompson Nicola Regional District). a Please don’t call the office as there is no one in it until we return. We have contacted those guests who were checking in today and will be in touch with those checking in tomorrow and with this weeks upcoming bookings if they are going to be affected by the current order.
