Oct.5/15

Nigh-time temps have been below freezing all weeks, but most days have been warm and sunny, warmer then average to, lots of sun. Friday saw lots of rain, even some snow in the mountains on the Sat morning.

Several guests reported, while checking out at the end of last week, that they had experienced some of there best fishing ever! Reports from the weekend, were good to. The morning bite has been slow to non existent, but once the sun warms things up, the trout have been feeding pretty good. best bites have been mid day into the late afternoon.

Trolling is not really producing, as the active trout are extremely shallow. Guest are having better success just anchoring and working the shallow areas. Again, finding GREEN weeds are the key!!!!!

Fly fishers are reporting good success on scud patterns, Burnt PumpinHeads, and Patrol Car Leaches. Stripped back, or fished under an indicator. Gear fishermen are hooking up using BlueFox spinners, or lighter spoons. Worms fished shallow under a float continue to catch lots.

This weeks weather forecast is looking favourable to keep the bite going strong.
