March 09/20

Ice fishing is still going strong on Tunkwa. The ice is approximately 15″, and no sign of any deterioration from run off as of yet.
Fish being caught are coming out of the shallower areas of the lake, in close proximity to the weedbeds. Trout are absolutely stuffed with scuds. Fisheries were out and did 02 readings, and the lakes in the area are all in good shape, and wintering well.
The next reports that we will be posting up will be as the ice off progresses. If your interested in an update on the ice condition for fishing, please feel free to e-mail us or a give a call.
