Ice has been rapidly melting and there is some open water in front of the resort that can be seen on our web cam. Overnight the main slab of ice moved North and started to pile up on the  North shoreline. It’s a matter of a few days and we should be ice free. One angler caught a few fish and one was 2 1/2 lbs. picked up on a leech under an indicator. With the excellent 0/2 readings in February ice off fishing should be good right at ice off, yesterdays water temperature was 44 Deg..
