Cross Country Skiing

Logan Lake

The Logan Lake Ski Trail System begins in the community – at the end of Chartrand Ave – and extends out into the surrounding wilderness. Trails are groomed for both classic and skating techniques. The ski season usually starts in the first week of December and continues through March. The Loop is a 2km/1.2mi lighted section of a 36km/23mi track set trail on the upper slopes of Logan Lake. To reach The Loop follow residential signs.

Stake Lake

Midway between Kamloops and Logan Lake, off the Coquihalla Highway, are the trails around Stake Lake. It is the region’s largest groomed classic and skating facility with a 45km/28mi trail network, with some trails now lit for nightime skiing. Shelters are provided on longer trails. All trails are maintained in co-operation with BC Parks and BC Forest Service.
