Winter is a special time at Tunkwa Lake Resort.

Quiet, cozy nights in front of the fire in your cabin make for some great family memories. 

We have access to endless snowmobile trails catering to a full spectrum of abilities. We have some equipment that is available for use, please check at time of booking. We provide an outdoor rink and we will keep the rink in fine shape for skating. There are plenty of bon-fire areas on the shores of the lake and winter guests often see some of the best wildlife in the middle of winter including herds of wild horses that frequently cross the frozen lake.
